DAS launched a new XR Lab aimed at artists and creatives who wish to learn, explore, and develop their creative practice using XR technologies regardless of their background or level of experience. Extended reality (XR) is an umbrella term that includes augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR). Participants of the XR Lab have access to various XR technologie alongside talks, demonstrations and workshops. DAS membership is required for full access to the Lab, but these Open Days during the Photo festival are an opportunity to attend a session in order to to view the equipment and resources that are available to use. Open Day attendees will be able to get advice on how the lab can benefit and enhance their practice before committing to a membership.

**The drop-in sessions are open between 12-4pm on the available dates.
