Varun Gupta is a photographer, digital ad-man and a lover of analogue and alternative photography practices who co-founded the Chennai Photo Biennale in 2016. His alma maters include Light & Life Academy and the College of Wooster, US. He is also the founder of Travelling Lens - a company that conducts specialised guided photo tours. Photo Sewa is one of his documentary projects where he travels to make portraits of local communities on a large format camera and also prints out a small postcard-size picture to be given to the subjects. Varun is based in Chennai, India.
