NATAN DVIR
Managing Director of Education (Houston Center for Photography)
Natan Dvir is an educator, artist, and editorial photographer who joined the Houston Center of Photograph (HCP) in 2023. In his role as Managing Director of Education, he is responsible for developing, managing, and expending the educational programs at HCP working with some of the world’s most innovative practitioners. During 2021-2022 Natan established the Part-Time Programs at the International Center of Photography (ICP) where he has taught continuously since 2011. Opportunities to join HCP’s or ICP’s faculty might be discussed with relevant photographers (previous teaching experience is preferred).
Natan has recently curated an exhibition for the CdRF in Bucharest, Romania and was on PHOTO IS:RAEL 2023 Artistic Committee. He has previously reviewed portfolios Rencontres d’Arles, FORMAT International Photography Festival, Head On Photo Festival, Kolga Tbilisi Photo, HCP, and ICP.
Natan received his MBA from Tel Aviv University and his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. He is a Sony Imaging Ambassador and is represented by Polaris Images agency and Anastasia Photo gallery. His award-winning work was exhibited and published extensively during the past 20 years by museums, festivals, and leading magazines around the world.
