WORKSHOP: DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR BEGINNERS

Join artist Neil Hainsworth for a one-day intensive workshop aimed at those new to digital photography and looking to learn how to use their digital camera. Your tutor will guide you through the various settings, modes and menus on your camera and explain to you what they mean and how to use them to get the best out of your camera and to develop your skills. With full access to Hillsborough Castle’s 100 acres of historical gardens you will also cover the basics of composition and framing along with tips and techniques on storing and sharing your photographs. Perfect for anyone with a digital camera who wants to get the best out of it: Students must bring their own digital Camera to the workshop ( camera phones are acceptable ). 

About the tutor

Neil Hainsworth is a freelance artist and designer based in Belfast. Originally training in Dance, Neil now is a filmmaker and photographer specialising in Dance and Circus short films. Using his background in dance to create moving camera sequences, choreographing the camera to create compelling, dynamic shots. Meet in the Clore Learning centre above the Stableyard Café.
