ERIK VROONS

Freelance Writer/ Editor/ Curator (Netherlands)

Erik Vroons (b. 1976, The Netherlands) is a freelance writer, editor and curator. He’s been involved with GUP Magazine for many years as Editor in Chief and Editor at Large for its associated Dutch - and European talent platforms New Dawn/New Dutch and Fresh Eyes. He collaborates with individual photographers both as a coach/mentor and editor/author, occasionally as a concept designer. Over the years, he has been involved in activities with several established organizations in the realm of photography awards (e.g. World Press Photo, Lensculture, Canon), participates in juries/talks/consultancies, while also occasionally contributing features in writing to international editorials.
