This year the festival is brought to you under the theme of ‘Spectacle.’ Focusing on this theme, the Festival has been curated with a split between spectacle in its broadest sense and a focus on photography and the spectacle of cinema.

The Festival includes work by major international photographers alongside Northern Ireland’s finest photographic talent. in addition you will find a variety of workshops, interactive events, walks, masterclasses and portfolio reviews.

Belfast Photo Festival is Northern Ireland’s premier visual arts Festival and the photographic biennial for the island of Ireland, celebrating some of the most exceptional national and international contemporary photography and visual culture.
