The introduction to screenprint workshop is directed at people with any level of experience. It aims to explain each stage of the screen printing process in detail, so that participants feel that they can return to the process independently and confidently. The course will introduce you to what screenprinting is and its applications. You will be shown how to create a stencil both digitally through the use of halftones, as well as non-digitally using drawing and hand cut stencils. The course will teach you how to prepare your screen, how to set up on press and from there, how to print. Each participant will leave the course with their own edition of original prints.
