Recognising that photography has played a major role in our collective view of what is true and what is false, the panel will be discussing how the camera has been used to construct (and de-construct) our understanding.
In approaching this we will recognize the international relevance of this issue and its pertinence to Northern Ireland. Within the context of this discussion, the panel will consider the festivals exhibition concepts and how photography has been edited and misrepresented to portray the truth and the untruthful.
