You will create a positive and learn how to prep your own black and white artwork (a photograph), in preparation for the photo intaglio process - preparing the metal plate, coating the plate in light sensitive film, exposing the plate with UV light using the positive, developing the plate, (potentially etching the plate),printing the plate with oil based inks on archival printmaking paper, setting up your workspace and producing your very own limited-edition print run. You will learn to print, troubleshoot and experiment with colours and come away inspired for your next edition!
