BARBARA GREGOV
Curator (Organ Vida, Zagreb, HR)
Barbara Gregov (1991) is a curator, writer, and producer based in Zagreb, Croatia. She holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb. Through collaborations with many organizations within the local and international art scene, she has gained extensive experience in writing, programming, curating, and producing diverse cultural programs.
As a curator, she has been an integral member of the curatorial team for the Organ Vida Festival, focusing on researching image-based practices, particularly at the intersections of visual art and contemporary digital and popular culture. Since 2023, she has worked as a curatorial associate at the Miroslav Kraljevic Gallery (GMK) and a program associate at Kurizv, concentrating on experimental, collective, and reparative research methodologies in visual art.
In the same year, she assumed the role of festival coordinator at the Zagreb Film Festival, a festival focusing on contemporary arthouse film and independent cinema. She has contributed as an author and editor to feminist media outlets such as Vox Feminae and Krilo, writing mostly on film and popular culture. Currently, she edits mondenka, a small print publication dedicated to experimental approaches to writing on visual art and culture.
